Become a Member

If you are interested in becoming a member of Yahara House, start by calling us at 608-280-4700 or stop in at 802 E. Gorham St. between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday-Friday. The process of becoming a member is as follows:

1. Take a tour of the program

2. Fill out an application

3. Attend orientation

4. Engage in department work and be part of the YH community

Eligibility

Yahara House is open to adults with a history of mental illness. Membership is funded primarily through Dane County’s Comprehensive Community Services Program (CCS) and the Veterans Administration. Membership funding is also available through private pay sliding fee scale, or some commercial insurance agreements.
